Ability Central Funds Training to Keep Kids Safe

Kidpower is a global leader in personal safety education for all ages and abilities, teaching skills for strong relationships and the prevention of harm. They have over 31 years of services impacting 6+ million people of all ages and abilities worldwide.

Kidpower’s Safety Powers Project, supported by Ability Central is a free course divided into short video lessons. Each lesson covers a different personal safety topic and aims to help people, of all ages, with a variety of communication challenges, to learn and practice ‘People Safety’ skills. All skills are shown with and WITHOUT the use of spoken words.
